*HAPPY 60th ANNIVERSARY OBAFEMI AWOLOWO UNIVERSITY*

The big mirror that reflect the inner beauty of mankind,
Giving ideas to preserve the world,
Greener pasture it makes the world.

Open wide your gate though the best posses the key.

The beauty of you open wide the mouth,
Your length and breadth Twitter bird rejoice to tour.

Your students in strength you nurture and train,
From gate to bank you impress your guests.

Your bookshop and senate rearrange the mind.

Your field of sport is blood for veins.

Your halls in awe your students rejoice,
Awo the hall that teach your ways.

The best of teachers your faculties they sleep,
Though we found one or two with the devil's heart.

Dele Momodu came and you brightened his mind, making him a light to the world he walk.

Gani came you lend him your mirror,
Making him the luminary we all delight.

Ibukun Awoshika came you struggled her to success,
breaking her lazy self she rose to sky.

Seun Osewa a little breast he sucked from you,
Nairaland the result the world he gave.

Ebun Olu Adegboruwa came, he saw the mirror, his mind the law he radiates in season.

Falana came he saw your light, the masses rights he fight non stop.

Elujoba the man that hold your ways, preserving your honour we all regard.

The struggle you give we beseech thee you alleviate,
Your rigidity we plead you ameliorate.
In love we know you hold your ways,
but in blood we bleed, sometimes to death in walking your ways.

Nevertheless, we love you the great Citadel of learning and culture.

The makers of kings and queens.

The giver of light in darkness.

The mother of mothers that give birth to other mothers.

The big Iroko tree that spread it branches to protect her children.

The magnificent edifice that bring forth it light on the mountains,
Giving it sparkling brightness of civilization in the mind of men.

You are the one we all with experience and boldness refers to as the King of all University.

Happy sixtieth birthday Oba Awon University.

Moses.

A very USELESS country ruled by senile old fools.

Nigeria is still one of the 30 countries in the world that's still battling with basic amenities in the 21st century...

6TH LARGEST PRODUCER OF OIL IN THE WORLD. The same oil the some Arab countries are using to live like kings and queens...

- WHY CAN'T WE HAVE FUNCTIONING REFINERIES?

- WHY CAN'T WE HAVE CONSTANT ELECTRIC POWER?

They banned cryptocurrencies
They have banned Twitter
Soon, they'll ban protests and order shoot on target of protesters.
Yet, some useless youths are still supporting this olds fools in the name of APC and PDP party members...
What a Shame!

Oga I want it to pepper you very well,

If you're so touched by Nigeria's situation as you claim to be, why not take action, mobilize your fellow youths and sympathizers and do what you think is the needful while we wish you well and will Follow in your "Footsteps" grin

Failure is an orphan.
No mention of countless number who came that never broke into the spotlight.

These ones mentioned here would have still emerged if they went to other schools.

Nothing against that great school. However, a man is more likely to be made by his own extra miles and efforts than by an institution to break even. Man is always the architect of his own fortune.
