I'm trying to start POS business and i'll love to hear from people that are in this business or those that have in the past. I need advice on which of them is better, Opay, Quickteller paypoint, Paycentre, Paga, Firstmonie, Ecobank xpress point and others. What's the price of getting the POS and every other info. 1 Like |

I currently leased the BaxiBox Credit card reader from a colleague for five months and I'm getting frustrated here. 5 people have withdrawn in the space of 5 days and while they got debited, the money never reflected on my card reader. This is getting me frustrated as no normal machine is supposed to do this every now and then. I don't even know what to do. 1 Like |

Hausa:Hmmm. Quite sad. Sorry about that. Why did you opt for Baxibox in the first place amongst all the trusted popular others? First time i'm hearing of Baxibox and this is one bad review. What's your next move now? Quitting Baxibox or the business? |

Refinedbeing:Actually, I didn't opt for BaxiBox. My colleague doing the pos business had some issues and needed a quick bail out. He was going to give the machine to someone in Gombe when I weighed in and offered to give him 50k in a form of lease - for 5 months. He'd give me back the money after 5 months. Because it's a school environment and we see each other everyday, I've given out 27k with the hope that once reversal is made to them, I'll get my money back. They haven't been reversed by their banks even after 24 hours and it's frustrating. I'm now asking customers to do transfers only because I really cannot tell when the machine is going to fail me. This doesn't seem right given I encouraged the customers to come to me instead of going outside to stress themselves. It's getting me frustrated. The guy claims it's normal. But I very well know it isn't. |

Hausa:It can be frustrating for real. How much money did you start with aside what you gave for lease? I'm thinking Opay |

Refinedbeing:Just like 40k. Not a major business. Just side hustle. What's Opay? |

ReadyCash is very good. Excellent network, no target, low charges and easy to get. |

Go for OPAY to avoid unnecessary debiting, fail transaction, etc. OPAY is the best when it comes to charges. It's the cheapest. OPAY customer service is very okay Their terminal price are Smart( Android POS ) 50k Traditional ( Analogue or button POS) 35k Mini MPOS ( calculate one) 8.5k These are official price, price may be more that the stated above if you're getting it from an aggregator. FYI, I'm in the business and I can joyfully tell you that the business is ok if you have a reasonable capital and a good location. |

Does opay set target |
Re: Starting POS Business i need advice by infinixhot3(m): 10:13pm On Jul 20, 2021 |
akingold2: Yes OPAY set targets of continuous usage of their device. 4 days of no transactions, the terminal will be blocked until you carry out 5 different transaction worth 50k or more. This policy recently employed because of some abandoned usage of their terminals 1 Like |

Refinedbeing: I will advice you to get 2 POS machines in case one fails. I suggest OPay and Paycentre (Pro: portable, con: no hard copy receipt), else get one you can afford or prefer. A piece of advice for you: don't be too leap. There are fake alerts, and there are card theft. Be careful when/whom to take transfer from into your azza. 1 Like |

Don't forget I still buy funds and support with payment solution like Zelle, PayPal, eBay, and Payoneer funds at a sweet rate. I redeem gift cards and e-code at first-hand rates as the foreign exchanger you give. Tested and Trusted! Many transactions that many can vouch for me.

Is it possible to carry out transactions after your terminal is blocked for non usage in order to reactivate it? |
Re: Starting POS Business i need advice by truvine(m): 8:05am On Jul 23, 2021 |
akingold2:Yes, you can do POS withdrawals but you wouldn't be able to transfer the funds out. The blockage is on Outward |

Re: Starting POS Business i need advice by infinixhot3(m): 12:05pm On Jul 24, 2021 |
Naughtysex: 100k is okay. You put 2 30k for your wallet for deposit and 70k cash for withdrawal. As time goes on you grow from it. |
