Today June 9, 2021, the Honorable Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, presented to President Muhammadu Buhari the ITF Mobile, a new Android phone produced by the Electrical/Electronics Technology Department of the Industrial Training Fund’s (ITF) Model Skills Training Center (MSTC) in Abuja. The ITF Mobile is made from components 100% locally sourced in Nigeria (from Lagos and Aba), and is being readied for mass production.
President Muhammadu Buhari today received made in Nigeria Phone, presided over Federal Executive Council Meeting and swore-in Commissioners of the Federal Civil Service Commission and National Population Commission, Engr. Wakil Bukar and Mohammed Dattijo Usman respectively at the State House, Abuja.

We need to start from somewhere. Samsung, Apple, Techno, LG etc all started from somewhere before getting to their current level.

As Nigerians, we should lead in patronizing the ITF mobile. We have the market to get them started. With time, they will get better. We need to start producing locally what we use and consume.

In saner climes, the products are made to work efficiently before introducing it to the public, not the other way round. Otherwise, it is going to amount to a rip off(which unfortunately is a normal thing for you and which by now you're thoroughly accustomed to as a daily practice) when you expect people to "patronize" a substandard product with their hard earned money. It is the blind and senseless patriotism of folks like you that have enabled all the ma.d people in the current apc government
