Here's what you should do if your device ever falls in water or if water or liquid spills badly on it (The Second Step Is The Most Important)

1. If your device falls in water or water spills on it badly, pick it up, SWITCH IT OFF, clean it with a piece of cloth, shake it to remove as much water as you can from openings, residual always remains inside the phone and does the major damage.

Remember to remove the battery when cleaning including the battery compartment and the battery (if it is non-removable, Leave it).

After cleaning it, dry it for some time so it is exposed to.the sun and air (the screen should not be exposed to the sun)

2. Dip Your Device In Rice and leave it there for 3 days (72hours) for the best results. Many may be Impatient afyer 24 or 48 hours but I strongly recommend 72 hours ifvit was exposed to water so badly.

Cover the container or nylon bag that has the rice in it and only open it when you are ready to finally take the phone.

3. Insert the battery and Put On Your Device, it should come on and work just fine.
