Nothing we can do about it, he should just finish his contract and leave.

Rohr is the most useless coach I've seen. For five years now, he's been doing various permutations and combinations. We don't have a recognized first eleven despite the fact that we have some of the best legs in Africa at the moment.

The best thing is to let him go before world cup qualifiers and Nation cup begin.

Rhor isn't fit for the job at all. In fact, he has had lots of time to show competence but he has never shown that. What were need now is a coach that has proven beyond doubt to be able to lead the team to greatness while we still have this amount of talents littered all over Europe.

scoredcard247:
- Cameroon vs Nigeria did not produce any goals in their second friendly game played in Austria

- Both sides settled for a 0-0 scoreline and the Indomitable Lions had a game advantage better than the Super Eagles

- Gernot Rohr has won just five out of his 19 friendly matches since he became technical adviser of the national team

Cameroon vs Nigeria ended in a goalless draw as the Indomitable Lions had a best out of two legs, winning one and drawing the other.

On the part of the Super Eagles, it is a time to reflect and go back to the drawing boards to re-strategize the players’ performances.

With the Nation Cup six months away, Nigeria are still lagging behind in terms of blending the whole squad to become strong contenders for the soccer fiesta in January 2022.

Gernot Rohr’s men will begin their 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign against Liberia in September 1, and will take on Cape Verde four years later.

The fact about the three-time African champions is that they have not won in their last nine friendlies and since the appointment of Rohr, he has only managed five wins out of 19 test games.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) should also pay attention to friendly games not only qualifiers and tournaments.

With the quality of foreign stars in Rohr’s possession, the German gaffer has no excuse to lose some crucial test matches even if a few of the players are not present in the team.

Some African and European countries are not blessed with the amount of talents scattered in all the top leagues in Europe, but they still manage to form formidable squad.

Being the longest serving coach of the national team, Rohr should not be handled with kids glove when executing matches in any capacity for the Super Eagles.

During the era of indigenous coaches, they were not give much time to groom a team to perfection. In fact they work under intense pressure and criticisms from the footballing body and fans.

Rohr could not qualify Nigeria beyond the first round at the 2018 World Cup while the late Stephen Keshi won the AFCON 2013 and with the same squad qualified into the round of 16 at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Late Shuaibu Amodu won two AFCON bronze with the Super Eagles at the 2002 and 2008 AFCON and qualified the team to the South Africa 2010 World Cup, only to be sacked for Swedish Lars Lagerback before the tournament.

Anything less than winning the next AFCON competition should be the target set for Rohr and the next national coach should be employed at local level.

Rohr in my opinion is an average coach that have no direction or tactics in the round leather game.
No vision whatsoever!
Average in all aspects of his coaching process.

How many times are we going to say that this man should have been replaced after the last World Cup, 2018.
A half decent Technical Department will have analysed that tournament and realised a series of inherent errors in his work and ended it there and then.

We are sleep walking to another tournament misadventure with this tactically and 'managerially' inept fellow.

If they so love the dude he can be sent upstairs as Technical Director. We need a matchday technician in that dugout, not some old school, Mickey Mouse teacher.

We get players?
We get football structure for Nigeria?

Nigerian sports teams would find it difficult to win and compete consistently against Europe, Asia and America. This is because many countries in those continents are settled politically, economically, socially etc.

Nigeria's political structure (unitary system) is not working, economy is in shambles, socially there is hatred and distrust among the various ethnic groups that make up Nigeria.

Is it from such an environment that we would raise good footballers? Is it from such an environment that we would raise good coaches?
Is it from such an environment that we would build our football structures?

So until Nigeria sorts out it's politics, other segments of the country like sports eg football would be in limbo.
And we would be blaming coach.

He should work with 40 players. Let the players understand themselves. New faces in every matches is his problem.

That a look at France and Belgium, they hardly change team. What's the results, awesome.

Nigeria national team is like England and Brazil. They lack focus

This coach keep giving excuse

"The result is not the most important in these friendlies, the most important is to test some players to see some new faces, which was the case again today. We didn’t want to concede a goal, we wanted to score but we could not.

“When you’re missing players like Osimhen, like Chukwueze, Aribo, Kalu, like Henry it’s not easy. But they did well we had a lot of chances in these two games but we couldn’t score."

When you have iheanacho ....aka senior man red hot from England

Paul onuoachu red hot from Belgium..... King of goals

Moffi doing well too

And he is still giving excuse he lacks technical input simple

Get even our Nigerians like Amunike we will see better input

Sack Rohr now

Fucking Nigerians are hard to please. The super eagles performed superbly in the CAF qualifications for next year's tournament. Their last two games against Benin Republic and Lesotho showed how collectively focused they get when they mean business. They underperformed in their last two friendlies with Cameroon because they did not prioritize the match. I will only adjudge our national team poor or outstanding when they play competitive games like tournament or qualification matches.

Friendly is not a yardstick for me for rating a team. Poland was locked is a stalemate with Iceland in a friendly game days back. Y'all can remember that Nigeria thrashed Iceland at the world cup and had even won Poland at poland's home soil under Gerald Rohr.

Gerald Rohr is good at scouting players and luring them into the national and I will not take that away from him, I cut him some slack for that. His only Achilles heels is the challenge of blending the players effectively to achieve defined goals. On a scale of 1 to 10, I rate him 7.

If you know the kind of politics played in NFF you would know it's beyond our rant on social media to make the eagles work. Genot rohr is just a puppet to them who would only feature. Players they enlisted for him, they can never bring in somebody who would wanna do things his own way to make things work it can never happen. They have even looted the man's salary of 6months sef. our football is just a replica of the Nigerian government. Chop I chop...
