Direct Sales Agent (DSA)
A Microfinance bank with a state license currently operating in Lagos State with seven (7) branches is seeking to recruit apt and dynamic individuals who will function as Direct Sales Agents in different locations within Lagos state.
Job Description
The primary focus of this position is to generate revenue, drive channel penetration and improve brand visibility for the Microfinance Bank.
The ideal candidate should be confident, passionate and self-motivated young professional who should be able to plan and carry out direct marketing and sales of the bank’s products and services, carry out market storming activities and oversee all aspects of any campaign throughout the entire life span of a product, service or idea so as to gain customers, make sales, maintain and manage excellent customer relationship.
The Direct Sales Agents will be required to manage their time and duties largely by themselves and as may be required by their direct supervisors.
Although the role is fixed term contract, any candidate who meets up with the agreed target within the six (6) months probationary period automatically transforms to a permanent status.
Core Responsibilities
▪ Sourcing for potential clients/ customers.
▪ Manage the sales of the bank’s products in a professional manner.
▪ Create awareness for the bank’s products.
▪ Administer and ensure compliance to all sale objectives.
▪ Monitor all customer queries and ensure timely response to all issues.
▪ Document and maintain all records of sales activities and provide updates as per requirement.
▪ Achieving the assigned target in terms of revenue.
▪ Perform all duties assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications / Competencies
▪ A minimum of first degree/ HND in any field.
▪ Although prior sales experience is not mandatory, 1 – 2 years’ direct sales experience in a financial institution (preferably a Bank or an Insurance firm) will be an added advantage.
▪ Ability to maintain high grooming standards.
▪ Experience in customer service.
▪ Excellent Marketing and negotiation skills.
▪ Ability to self-motivate and manage self.
▪ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
▪ Good organizational and I.T. skills.
▪ Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
▪ The ability to understand and analyse sales figure.

Chanelle Microfinance Bank Limited is seeking to recruit a naturally driven and result oriented business development professionals who will drive and delivery on the banks products and services.
The ideal candidate must have experience in bank sales and marketing operation, a proven track record of delivering on organizational revenue milestones and is able to drive growth strategy to increase growth, retention and relationship management. You will be required to market treasury products to clients with various degree of diversity to match client's goals and risk tolerance. You will develop and expand the customer base and increase the Treasury Marketing & Sales volume by driving strategies/ideas tailored to all or specific customer needs.
The role requires a high level of business intelligence, persuasion and persistence to build strong relationships with prospective customers. The environment is highly pressurized and fast paced as top sales result are expected on a daily basis.

Responsibilities
• Meet and exceed sales revenue and profitability goals.
• Identify B2B & B2C marketing leads, manage pipeline and participate in sales team pipeline activities.
• Customize financing solutions to help clients reduce their financing costs or currency risks.
• Provide timely information/insights to clients regarding market opportunities.
• Proactively, and with a long-term focus, develop an internal and external network that effectively generates prospects for new business as appropriate. This would include maintaining relationships.
• Ensure a robust understanding of the various business owners need and their relevant industries, with the aim of providing excellent, tailored services to them.
• Ensure customer needs/expectations are profitably met and/or exceeded.
• Prepare proposals, undertake negotiations with prospects, and complete internal negotiations relative to Treasury and Payment Solutions sales.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of products, processes, and relevant legal, regulatory and technology requirements through audits and quality checks, to ensure decisions are adequately documented, and clearly communicated.

Educational Qualification:
• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in related field; MBA will be an added advantage.
• Any other relevant qualification

Experience
• Minimum of 3 or more years’ experience in liability generation/ treasury marketing in the financial services sector.
Knowledge & Skill
• Knowledge of financial services industry, including industry leaders, the legislative environment, and understanding of bank or credit union product development opportunities.
• Knowledge of all credit union business products and services as it relates to all businesses and market segments.
• A marked desire to exceed targets
• Networking skills.
• Ability to take constructive criticism
• Ability to pay attention to details.
• Must be customer-centric and service-orientated.
• Results-oriented, driven, committed to turn-around times/deadlines
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team are vital
• The ability to be proactive and self-source business
• The ability to explore and overcome objectives
