No more visa appointments at the German Consulate General Nigeria | Here is the Way forward recent tweets and chats show the German consulate General in Nigeria is not giving students visa appointments even though they have an admission from their various schools. This is quite disappointing as each student has placed everything in getting their school admissions. In reference to this, I propose the way forward and the best solution to this problem.

Nice video. But you have to realize that the German Embassy at this point is trying to control the immigrant profile in their country. They believe a lot of Nigerians have entered who have not returned back home and as such they want to limit the number of Nigerian students coming in, it's a deliberate move.

Right now, the only people who stand a chance of getting appointments are those with 1st class degrees and PhD applicants. Their (Embassy's) perspective is that if they will stay over after their degree, at least they have to be exceptional brains with intelligent minds to add to Germany as a country.

The real solution requires a longer process rather than just applying and waiting for appointment...
