Innocent People's Houses, Not IPOB/ESN Camps Raided, Burnt By Nigeria Police by Nobody: 3:30pm On Jun 10, 2021 |
A young lady in the Ikeduru area of Imo State has lamented how her house in the area was set on fire after being mistaken as the hideout of Eastern Security Network (ESN) operatives. On Tuesday, it was reported that the camp of the ESN, the militant arm of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) at Akabo, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo, was dislodged by the Nigeria police. During the operation, a policewoman allegedly held captive by the dislodged ESN men was reportedly freed. But, the young lady (name withheld) refuted the claims stating that the police operatives randomly set fire on some houses in the area while claiming they were part of ESN camp. She said her house was among the houses burnt and her cousin was killed in the process. According to her, the young man, said to be in his late 20s to early 30s, was shot dead by the security operatives after accusing him of being a member of ESN/IPOB. She stated that her mother watched helplessly as the damage was done to the house. She said, “They came in the afternoon on the ESN, IPOB issue and they started setting houses on fire, ours included. They accused my cousin of being a member of IPOB and in the argument that ensued, he was shot dead. “The houses are still in their burnt state. We are managing to live in ours like that, but we can't do that for very long because it was the roof that was basically burnt. “My mum watched them helplessly as they burnt our house and she cried, there was nothing she could do. That broke my heart to a great extent." When asked if there were plans to repair the damaged building, she said, “None, except the funds needed for it make themselves available. https://saharareporters.com/2021/06/10/innocent-peoples-houses-not-ipobesn-camps-raided-burnt-nigeria-police-—-lady-alleges-says |

Not that the security agents don't know that those houses belong to innocent people. But they are cowardly doing that just to make the people hate ESN nothing more. The most coward security agency in the world is that of Nigeria security forces. 1 Like |

Kamdil: Of course they know. Dont they know the difference between a training camp and a residential area? They just went about burning peoples houses and shooting innocent people in the name of searching for ESN |

Kamdil: It's a normal tactic used by the tyrant to address internal security issues. It's very needless tbvh What you have is a political situation brought about by the Northern government inability to create the democratic ideal for the rest of the country to emulate. Nepotism Feudal hegemony Parasitic dependency All of this while you excommunication people from the table of development due to primordial sentiments. How long will the Northern Fulani government carry on the subjugation of the people who are originally Nigerians. |
