I ask for the umpteenth time... How can police posts in the South East be so poorly outfitted and secured at this critical point in time??! The slain police officer was just sacrificed by his superiors maybe to further draw up condemnation against Ipob/ESN, cos there is no right way to explain this carelessness and nonchalance on the part of a nation and state's main security outfit. If I am under threat of death or grievous crime, especially if I have witnessed or heard it happen to others, I would stay woke, alert, and dangerously armed even for more than a year. I am deeply disappointed in the leadership of this nation and the entire South East... Tufia!!! |

Tinubuadvocate: This is the most reckless and imbecility in nairaland.com since 2011 , why would the south east pay for the reckless killing, what is stopping the security men to defend themselves and repel these attacks , meanwhile when will Katrina people pay for the security men that bandits killed or the people in borno pay for the security men that boko haram killed. If the security men cannot defend their lifes then they should ship off and go where they are safer 2 Likes |

Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has failed this country as a former leader. He keep saying wrong things from his mouth. If he does not want to support a referendum he should keep quiet. OBASANJO BELONGS TO GENERATION OF SOUTHERN LEADERS WHO BENEFITED FROM WHERE THEY DID NOT SOW. Instead of keeping quiet Obasanjo is siding with the Buhari camp to frustrate democratic move in Nigeria. It is only Afenifere under the leadership of Pa Ayo Adebanjo that is now fighting geninuely for the interest of the yoruba, middlebelt region and southern part of Nigeria. IT IS ON RECORD THAT OBASANJO GAVE THE NORTHERN POLITICAL LEADERSHIP THE STRENGTH THAT THEY ARE USING TO OPPRESS THE SOUTH TODAY. He is pretending to be a messiah. But Nigerians from the south know Obasanjo as an ANTI-SOUTH LEADER. Obasanjo prefer to make friends with corrupt sheikh Gumi and General Abdulasalami. ( rtd ) Anytime Obasanjo comes out with his own solutions to problem it is always ANTI-SOUTH. UNITY CAN NOT BE FORCED ON PEOPLE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN IT that is what the like of general obasanjo should know. You do not forced people to live together when they do not want to or they are not comfortable with such unity. |

kcnwaigbo: Then you haven't been following my comments in most related threads on this forum.... I just recently condemned the nonchalance and cowardice of Benue people in the face of the deadly attacks from Fulani bastards. I am neither biased nor prejudiced or show compromise when it comes to matters of life and death... A police outpost anywhere in this country should not be easy picking for terrorists... It's an embarrassment! These people know they are targeted and in the midst of terrorism, yet they leave their stations with few weapons and personnel... That's beyond suspicious. East, South, North, my sentiments remain the same... I don't choose sides... I call it as I see it. |

This is getting too much. Is right time president Buhari send a crack team to the south East and declare war to IPOB and crush them to their kneels. What did Nigeria police do to deserve all these? Are Nigeria police ur problem? I am beginning to support Buhari statement of crushing Ipob just like the days of the civil war. You guys should not take this ur foolishness and stupidity to my dear state DELTA. WE ARE NOT BIAFRA AND WE ARE NOT PART OF BIAFRA. IS BETTER WE REMAIN IN NIGERIA THAN JOIN SELFISH, GREEDY IGBO'S 1 Like 1 Share |
