NIGERIA BREAK's
UP

By WOLE SOYINKA......

The Ibos want Biafra
The North wants Ibo's exit
The Yorubas want Ibo's exit
The Ibos are saying "we have investments in your areas and cannot leave them"
And the fight is being cooked.

Governors are sharing bailout funds
Workers salaries are not paid
Government officials have their children schooling abroad
Ministers and senators are looting

The poor Hausa man is riding Okada
The poor Ibo man is riding Okada
The poor Yoruba man is riding Okada

The poor Hausa man sleeps under the bridge as Alamajiri
The poor Yoruba man sleeps under the bridge as Alaye
The poor Ibo man sleeps under the bridge as agbero

It is pertinent to note that the poor from all ethnic groups in Nigeria have everything in common and so is the rich.

Do not allow the agitation of an Ibo man who lives in UK or USA for Biafra cause the killing of the Ibo man in Adamawa.

The problem in the country is not the agitation of any ethnic group but the unity of the elite and the disunity of the masses.

How many times have you taken your agitation to question your local government Chairmen?

Why have you not asked your Governors through agitation how they spent bailout fund?

Why have you not agitated against that government official whose mansions you go to beg for help?

Sad to note;
All the Governors love themselves
All the past Presidents love themselves
All the senators love themselves
All the top government officials love themselves
All the looters love themselves

Why can't you and I love ourselves?
Why cant we combine efforts and fight them?
Why do we fight ourselves?
Why do we allow them the freedom we don't have?

Remember; a good Nigeria is better than a good Arewa, Oduduwa or Biafra.
One love keep us together, united we stand divided we fall. Keep Nigeria one now and always.

Since I became an adult, I have never seen Nigeria celebrating democracy day not berated with negative imagery of the country which is often orchestrated by the opposition party or aggrieved citizens who are either brainwashed by the opposition party for their selfish interest without actually knowing their onions as we say in the street palace.or those, who have genuine concern of National issue regardless of party affiliation (I stand to be corrected though).Sen. Dino Melaye customize a shirt that trend on twitter with inscription of all the low grade as a score card for Jonathan led administration and many youth who are now dancing to different tune fall for the gimmicks of politicians

Are our Igbos and Nnamdi Kanu aware of this?

"That even the Eze Igbo Gburugburu himself, the late Ikemba Nnewi, Gen. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu was betrayed"

In 2003 PMB running under the banner of the ANPP picked an Igbo, Chuba Okadigbo as his running mate. The East voted PDP.
In 2007, PMB picked another Igbo, Edwin Ume-Ezeoke. The East voted PDP.

He later picked a Yoruba, Tunde Bakare in 2011. The Igbo voted PDP.

Then, in his fourth attempt in 2015, he chose another Yoruba, Yemi Osinbajo as running mate. The Igbo voted massively for PDP but PMB won!!! PDP had it's own strategy. They courted the West and North to get the vote and used sentiments to get votes from the East.

Politics being about numbers and alliances, PMB aligned with the SW and became president. And the Igbo said the Yoruba sold out by supporting the North when they (the Igbo) missed the numerous chances they had to align with the North.

We saw in the last elections in 2015 that a candidate only needed strong votes from the North and votes from one other region to win the presidency.

If the East had gone with the North each time they had the chance to so do, we would have had an Igbo President before now based on our zoning system.

Even our "Biafra hero" the late Emeka Odimegwu-Ojukwu - "Ikemba Nnewi" - contested the Presidency and for Senate but my people voted against him throughout. They preferred instead, OBJ, YAR' ADUA & other candidates from other regions!!!

"TRUTH IS BITTER."

- Emeka Onwuka

Who betrayed who and who is fooling who?

As if PDP didn't do the same during their time even when obasanjo increased fuel he said if men could buy beer at huge price why can't they buy fuel at the price he was forcing on us... I could remember the protest we did in Lagos during Jonathan time when he increased the fuel price after yaradua reduced it
I saw war tanks with army in full kit and we all ran...
These people are the same and I pity people shouting APC and PDP they are friends behind and enemy in the clear so as to play people who follows them.
