robosky02:Well, I guess you've heard of this phrase, " the best way to defend is attack". Lemme add this line to it "and score goals". When a play leads to attack and results in goals, even if you concede, you'd still have the edge. The problem with this team is much. Ordega isn't fit and should not play, Payne and Oshola isn't using their brain to play accurate passes or be well position to shoot. Ajibade makes the tackles but easily give away possession. In fact, all of them are doing giveaways with ball possession. The full backs overlap but can not recover in time, thereby exposing the centerbacks which resulted to the first own goal. Make I continue? 1 Like |

Well, they fought well to salvage a draw courtesy of a Rasheedat Ajibade 96th minute goal. A very uncoordinated play from the team... Very poor at swinging play from wing to wing...no ball distributor...attacked through just one extremely blocked wing throughout the entire last 20mins I watched. NFF should just allow Oparanozie back abeg, the team needs her bulldozing prowess in the frontline in games like this. As for this coach, he's suspect jare. 2 Likes |

US Summer Series: Super Falcons Hold Portugal In Six-Goal Thriller The Super Falcons held Portugal to a 3-3 draw in a thrilling contest at the BBVA Stadium, Houston Texas on Monday morning, reports Completesports.com. Skipper Asisat Oshoala, Onome Ebi, Michelle Alozie and Ifeoma Onumonu replaced Tosin Demehin, Salome Zogg, Vivian Ikechukwu and Roosa Ariyo as head coach Randy Waldrum made four changes to the side that last 1-0 to Jamaica. Chidinma Okeke turned the ball into her net on 22 minutes to hand Portugal the lead in the game. Carole Costa doubled Portugal’s lead from a free-kick in the 34th minute. Alozie pulled a goal back for the Super Falcons just a minute to halftime for Portugal to lead 2-1 at the interval. Nigeria made two substitutions after the break with Zogg and Glory Ogbonna replacing Amarachi Okonkwo and Onumonu. Telma Encarnação restored Portugal’s two-goal lead four minutes after the break. Oshoala then reduced the deficit for Nigeria before Rasheedat Ajibade equalised deep into stoppage time. The Super Falcons will face hosts United States of America in their final game of the invitational tourney on Thursday. |

robosky02:Bros, me and you no say na nonsense dem play this morning na. Even our indigenous coach would have a more tactically sound team. The Portuguese played better but we were lucky and this shouldn't have been the case. Why we come dey pay huge salary to that coach? Bro, goan check results on that goal na. Na clear own goal and it was given to that Portuguese defender officially. Watin you dey argue again? 1 Like |
