That is because to be brutally honest

1. Bad leadership

2. No emergency medical service in Nigeria

3. Poor funding. We don't pay the kind of taxes that can fund a working healthcare system. Amount of money spent on health is too low. Our sport sector is not well.funded. Our economy is too oil dependent and the oil is not enough for all 200 million of us
no be when you get job you go pay tax?
wetin them dey use the one wey we pay dey do?
come on stop dreaming.
since 1914 Nigeria has never worked.
Right now it is not working, and it may never work as long as we keep recycling our leaders.

There have been a lot of improvements in care for cardiac arrest and a lot of changes since all three men died

Protocols have changed as well as practices. Lessons have been learned.

Considering that there is a lot of difference between 1989, 1995 and 2003 respectively
Bros let me tell you, Nigeria doesn't make any sense at all

Lets just say it wasn't time for Chris to depart mother Earth yet.

You needed to see the scene and how he fell. Even some of his team mates feared he was dead.

SO WHEN ITS TIME, ITS TIME BRO. NO MEDICS CAN CHANGE IT.

HAPPY SUNDAY

He's not wrong, yes your chances of surviving if you live overseas tipple but for real if it's your time to die even the best doctors on earth cannot save you. Ave heard of cases where people with a heart attack make it to the hospital but even with cpr and quick response with a defibrillator they don't come back. But honestly if you wan live longer life, leave Nigeria asap!

If the incidence had happened in one useless giant country like that, the young man would have been confirmed dead by now.
I am very sure the hospitals in that country would have been passing him around and asking for "FIFA report" before they can treat him. Ilu iranu. Continue to rest in peace Sam Okparaji.

It is not just about the medics.

When it is your time, it is your time.

There are players who have saved fellow players from dying on the pitch.

Togolese striker Francis Kone was not a medic when he saved the life of Bohemians goalkeeper Martin Berkovec. Berkovec had fainted after colliding with a teammate. Kone noticed on time, and rather than wait for the medics, Kone quickly prevented Berkovec from swallowing his tongue.

Ojoro use style dey this life. Why all of us no be the same. There is something about Africans. We think differently, act differently, no much love, evil mindset, so much envy.

Look at the whites, see how they value humanity to the extent of showing uncontrollable love for one another. Care, sense of oneness, government doing well and so much more.

Many Africans are not living life to the fullest because of the negative impacts.

Too many things are questionable about this life.

If it had been Nigeria, he might have already met with his ancestors. Ordinary stroke is a death sentence here in Nigeria for lack of tech.

Not really bro,
Cheick died on the training pitch, the medics weren't up to scratch. Antonio's case led to a radical revamp of Spanish leagues medical arrangements during matches because they found out they were backwards in terms of regulations compared to say the English.... Heard some reports saying that if Patrice Muanba collapsed on the same pitch Antoine did, he would have died cos of the different medical procedures in the different leagues. A lot of changes occured within European top flight leagues after those two cases together with Foé

Don't qoute God on things you have no idea Abt, he doesn't hold the key to death, a large %age of death is due to slow response of medics or lack of regular check up, that ain't got nothing to do with God.
Eat healthy, excersise regularly, attend to periodic medical check-up and see if u won't live long.
