Over the weekend, some herdsmen were pursued from Epe Lagos state and as a result of our boundary with Lagos they passed through our area, and in order not to allow them settle in our area we escorted them till they left our area. At iyemoji Imagbon area there was an accident where a lorry killed some cows (3 from accounts) but unfortunately despite warnings, some people scavenged on the dead cows and investigations are ongoing on those that carried the dead cows.
Now this is where it gets interesting, some soldiers led by a captain Sunny visited the only Oba in our area stating that the Fulani were looking for their missing cows, 200 in total and a missing boy. The Oba explained to the captain that 3 cows were seen in our area and that the Fulani had recovered them and as for the missing boy and 200 cows, that the long journey at night from Lagos could have resulted in both getting missing at any point along the journey but that we would call ourselves and search to see if they are within our area. The captain called and relayed same to the Fulani leader via a phone call. But there was a subtle threat that it was imperative that the boy and cows be found to prevent a possible retaliatory attack by the fulanis, there was no assurance of protection and since yesterday we have been apprehensive not knowing what to expect. We have reached out to the So Safe corps, we intend to intimate amotekun today and possible the local and state governments so as to prevent an igangan type attack on our people.

Guys, at this stage... It would be foolish to hear that herdsmen got to strike people at your place in spite of all that you have know about herdsmen.

All the guys in your area will forever have themselves to blame if the news came back that herdsmen killed even one people in your area regardless of who ever is supporting them.

You know your area better than anyone even the Nigerian Army so if someone who wandered all the way from Chad eventually claims lives in your town, you are the one to be blamed.
