They will turn their eye away from rickety taxis and Tricyles and be harassing motorists for particulars and driving license

Rail transportation will solve most of the loads heavy duty trucks are transporting within or inter- state.
Hualeage is a very big manace to our roads, one has to be very careful when driving in our road either within the city or inter-state, truck drivers are a big threat.
Anyway I wish the VIO official a very quick recovery & the truck drive to do his days in jail.

You have a point with the rail system but presently it’s not Feasible. This is major because rail transport is managed only by NRC.. For us to achieve maximum potential of rail system, it has to allow involvement of private sector just like what was done to aviation back then.

Also this VIO need to be properly trained on how to discharge their duties. Most of them stand on the road stopping cars and truck coming with high speed life as if they left spare life at home.

In the rail sector, for private investigators to come into it the government has to laid the foundation by constructing more rail tracks
not only mono- track, when this is in place, then private individuals can own the trains.
Like in the aviation sector, the government build the Airports, private individuals own the planes.
As for the VIO' s not only them that need adquate training, the FRSC, Police , Custom, in fact all those forces that mount road block on our highway including those traffic wader they are all guilty.
The divers are majorly running from them because of multiple tickets/taxes.

Its a known fact that most of those trucks are outdated with worn out brakes, the best extreme measure is to give them routes to ply mostly on the outskirts of town or give them time mostly in the night to ply blc its very dangerous driving side by side with a goods laden heavy duty truck.

Am not really supporting then, am just saying that they are to ply the road b/w 10am to 3pm considering the fact the government said they can't ply the road in the mornings & evenings.
If some of those tracks are not road Worthy it's the government responsibility to scrap them off the road without sentiment.
Moving at night is also another risk, because pple still travel at night.
