Willful destruction of property, Gross misconduct and act liable to disturb public peace. This should not go unpunished and same must be rectified with the affected victims compensated for whatever psychological trauma they might have been made to pass through. Only in Nigeria sha. 1 Like |

That's very barbaric. However, if I may ask. Who paid for the poles and the power lines in the first place? I'm asking because my neighbor bought the poles, powerline and the accessories to extend the electricity supply to our former street. We extended it to our own house after paying a small fee of N500 in the early 80s. The owner of every new house had to pay a fee to him though they were tapping from our own extension. All the same, even if the farm incurred the initial cost of extending electricity to the community, they should have thought of their CSR to the host community. |

He solely install those poles, I think... And in several occasions facilities is often burnt due to illegal connections by some group of people.. these may provoke these events |
