JUBILEE SYRINGE COMPANY FLOATS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR HOST COMMUNITY.

As a part of her Corporate Social Responsibility, Jubilee Syringe Manufacturing Company, located in Awa, Onna Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State has supported some indigenes of her host community with scholarship awards.

Presenting the cheques to the beneficiaries at the premises of the company, on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, the Managing Director of the company, Mr. Akin Oyediran, explained that a committee was set up earlier, to select students from Awa, the host community for the scholarship awards.

According to him, beneficiaries the secondary and tertiary levels of the scholarship were selected based on intellectual merit.
The cheque presentation ceremony was witnessed by a cross section of Awa people, including the Village Head of Awa, other chiefs, students and parents of the awardees.
