Pursuant to Section 326 of the new CAMA 2020, and Regulation 17 of the Company Regulations, 2021, personal information of members of an entity can be Protected and restricted from use or disclosure on the register available for inspection by the public. Such information includes personal addresses.

For ease of access, an icon has been provided on the updated portal, at the point of filling the information of the members of the entities, which if clicked, indicates your interest in restricting the information.
Note however that the act of opting to restrict certain information attracts an additional cost. For business names, it attracts an additional cost of N25,000 on top the normal registration charge.
