I am getting serious with my farming business and it looks like my next best investment should be a truck. So I decide to shelve getting a second car and get a truck for the farm instead.

From the research I have started nothing beats a Toyota, but with my budget I am tempted to look for a cheaper alternative such as a Ford Ranger or Nissan frontiers of around the year 2000s.

Budget is around 1.5m.

Please What do you think?

Even the above rusted Tacoma would cost around $4k just to land UAR not to talk of duty.

Not necessarily the Tacoma sir, there are Toks frontier listings of around 1.7m on Jiji.

Like I mentioned ford ranger is also on my radar if I could get it within that range.

Another option is to consider Nigeiran used Toyota if experts advise it could be better than a Toks Ranger or Frontier in the long run.

I understand...but I'd advise you to beware of scams.
If they tell you to send money for fuel that the vehicle is out of the state, run!
