The implication of this personification is to afford the World Bank deniability.

There is no way an economy, such as the Nigerian economy, can achieve any tangible measurable growth for the single fact that it is currently being strangulated by a triplet monster of bloody secessionist uprisings (which for that matter is not being handled with common sense), religo-tribal extremism (Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, kidnapping/banditry, etc) and a drifting nation leadership.

So no reputable institution can put its institutional reputation on the line by predicting prosperity for Nigeria. Even if any foolhardily does that no reasonable Nigerian will agree. Tell me when will the exchange rate go back to the pre2015 figures? When? Please forgot figurative predictions!
