So many people think of starting a real estate business but find it difficult to get a good guide on how to go about it.

In this short write up, i like to give you a step by step process you can use to kick start the business of real estate.

First you need to decide which aspect of real estate you belong or you want to belong, is it Agency or Investing

1. Agency :
Agency is the best starting point for people who do not have money to start a real estate business.
Like in starting any business in life, everyone knows that you need capital. Meanwhile, in real estate, you might not necessarily need a capital if you can talk about the value of someone else property to other people.
As an agent, you are paid commission on every sales you make, so you can accumulate money to move to another better level of being an investor.

2. Investing:
Investing is a better place in real estate because at this level you send money on errand. You buy a property, you allow it to appreciate in value for a long time and you can sell to make profit.

As a real estate investor, you can be a small scale investor or a large scale investor.

A. Small scale investor

As the name implies, you only buy, sell or rent units of real estate (residential building, commercial building, industrial building or land) with the aim of making profit.

B. Large scale investor

These are the real estate companies. They employ and encompass all forms of players in the real estate sector. They have different departments ranging from legal unit, customer unit, marketing unit , finance, construction and so on
