Ambulance Services In Abuja by Surjen: 11:03am On Jun 18, 2021
You are at home with your wife on a weekday. Probably, both of you are on a leave and are now relaxing, watching TV and all of a sudden, your significant other complains about chest pain. As time passes, she also complains about feeling dizzy and not being able to breathe well. After a short while, it registers with you that this are some symptoms of cardiac arrest. You are almost certain of this knowing it is a thing that runs in her family line. The next thing that might set in is panic. No neighbors around to help as those that might are out for the day. To say the least, you are not mobile and even if you are, how do you transport her to the hospital without putting her in extra danger. In the midst of all this, you remind yourself about an advert by Surjen.com on Facebook talking about Emergency Ambulance Services. WHAT DO YOU DO?

You are left with two options:
1. You take to the hospital yourself. A lot of scenarios could arise with one being you causing more harm than good while trying to do good. You do not have any form of medical training and as such what can you possibly expect. This brings us to the second option.
2. You call 080 8111 1121 and request for an ambulance. One sure thing is bound to happen after providing the right details (reason for calling and location) over the call and fulfilling minor requirements (it takes less than 1 or 2 minutes to do so); an ambulance arrives at your location and a paramedic with experience in administering first aid treatment comes to your wife's aid. First aid treatment is done, she is now transported to a hospital.

The second option happens to be the best. Imagine there is traffic while in transit. The sound of the siren on the ambulance clears a pathway with preference given to the ambulance. Your wife gets to the hospital faster than you could have and in a better condition to start treatment. You could say that: the situation was managed better, faster, and more efficiently.

Imagine a scenario without such emergency response team. A lot of things could have happened of which one might be irreparable damage or death.

For so long, lives in Nigeria have been lost due to the inability to get access to first aid treatment and a hospital on time. In a medical emergency, you need to receive care as quickly as possible. Surjen understands that in the healthcare, a matter of life and death is within a second or half of it. Though the whole outcome can't be controlled, there are protocols that can be put in place to better manage the situation.

Surjen has partnered with private Emergency Response Teams to facilitate the ambulance services. The services are divided into three (3) major parts:

*Emergency ambulance services: In the case of an emergeny as depicted in the above scenario.
*Mobility transportation services: In a situation you need to transport a corpse from one location to another within and outside Abuja.
*Event standby: In the case of an event like a sporting event, a wedding or a corporate function, an ambulance can be deployed to be on ground for the duration of the event in order to respond to the medical needs of those in attendance as the case might arise.

The services are based in Abuja and covers the following areas:

*Apo
*Asokoro
*Gwarinpa
*Lugbe
*Karu
*Nyanya

Some of the services can also be extended to outside Abuja.

Services rendered within Abuja has a fixed cost and those rendered outside vary depending on factors as the case might be.

In the case of an emergency or in need of other services as listed above, call 080 8111 1121 OR visit https://www.surjen.com/ambulance-list to book today.
