An eleven years old Nigerian kid was captured in a circulating video moulding hollow blocks for a living.

Simply identified as “Israel”, the lad is just one out of the many cases of child labor as a means of survival in Nigeria.

This is child labour and abuse. I did this kind of work when my body was allowing me but certainly older than 11.

Aside from the anger and rage, I feel seeing this kid get robbed of his childhood, I am more concerned about the house such blocks would be used on, including the potential occupants of such a house.

God forbid these blocks to end up on a multi-level structure.

At least he didn't join armed robbery gang.

May God crown his effort by providing him a helper.
