How many times have you wished you could use 3ds max in such a way that your employer would exempt you from the regular appraisal stories of ‘ how did you save the company money this quarter”?

Or you have observed how your colleagues who are versatile with 3ds max seem to get calls for their services that end up in constant cash payments to them?

How long have you had learning 3ds Max on your list of things to do?
Have you discovered that your firm is so busy, you never seem to have time to dedicate to learning the software?

Have you realized that if only you were good with the software, you be making an extra NGN 30,000; NGN 50,000; or even NGN100,000 a month apart from your salary? Or that those PPs might actually click better?

You might even have come to the conclusion that if you’re to make an headway, and advance in this field of architecture, you will have to pay the price, have some sleepless nights, and do all you have to do, to learn the necessary tools.

Maybe you finally learnt Revit or ArchiCAD, or Chief architect, Bentley etc because your firm insisted. But 3ds max still remains elusive somehow, and you know your renders are simply too generic.

Been there, done that, and more than glad to have paid the price. Now, why don’t you to take the bold step, and decide to do all you can to better yourself.

If you knew that sacrificing two Saturdays of your life would take you several steps above the thousands of young architects competing for the few available jobs; if you knew that paying less than one month’s salary to learn 3ds max would make you a preferred choice for architectural firms, would you go ahead and learn it?

For the price of two Saturdays, and less than a month’s salary, you have the opportunity to learn 3ds Max from experts who have mastered the architectural aspects of the software, and have made hundreds of thousands of Naira from it.

For NGN 79,999.00 only, on May 21st and 28th, 2011 you can finally learn 3ds max without headaches.
The highly complex software has been broken down in such a way as to ensure that you become professionally productive in two classes.

You will learn in an air-conditioned environment, surrounded by like minded young guys and ladies.
You will get more than just technical understanding, because you will also learn from years of experience gained from handling jobs for different companies both within and outside Nigeria.

For less than the amount charged for 5 interior renderings, you can learn 3ds max Directly from experts, who will go straight to the core of what you need to know, saving you time…

Why are we teaching 3ds Max?

When more people can use 3ds Max, for one, architectural designs will get much more interesting. 3ds max professionals will be able to concentrate on big projects instead of the thousands of small buildings currently being handled. There would also be a bigger pool of talent to choose from when CGI really takes off in Nigeria.
Get ready to have a great time.

dude, i know about freedom of speech n all- but its just plain wrong to give the impression that u can learn 3d Max in 2 sessions (moreso if u have no prior 3d knowledge)
if prior knowledge is required, it should be stated.

is there any allowance for the individuals unique learning curve.
U cant even cover/get comfy with all the basic functioms of the interface in that period- and ur class is more than a 'getting started' thing judging from ur post- correct me if i am wrong.

U talked about saving time by going to the core of what u need to know, if thats d case, then modify ur topic thread to reflect ur area of focus, something like 'advanced speed modeling and rendering using 3d max'.
So prospective trainees know exactly wot they r getting.

The way it is currently is very ambiguos and misleading, or u can include an outline of ur course topics.

Spending 80k on self development is not a big deal, but feeling ripped off/dissatisfied, after a training is!

Goodluck.

The attached PDF details the following:
1. Course description.
2. Course outline.
3. After training follow-up (access to the Faculty for assistance).
4. Short introduction about tutors, and web-links to their works.

Any questions, observations etc can be posted here, or sent to info@verticaimagesgroup.com.
Thank you.

I don't believe you can learn 3D max within 2 classes. It's 3D MAX we are talking about here for crying out loud.

OP are you sure of what you are saying?
Are you talking about importing your design from another CAD software?

NO way you can learn 3D max from scratch in 2 classes.

Answer this simple question if you are for real.

1. How can i render water after stimulating it in reactor engine?

2. How can i apply and control texture in a small area of a box. Without affecting the whole geometry.

3. How can i produce a water fountain animation in an environment.

4. Why can't be able to use mr. area shadow when my default render engine is scaline.

5. What are the other alternative of using arch materials?

6. How can i switch between camera when producing a walk-through animation.

7. What is an alternative of daylight system?

8. How can i make a single object glowing(atmosphere effect)?

Prove yourself by answering this questions and expect more.
80k is a cool money to be taking for free.

Hello,
Did you download the pdf? Nowhere is it claimed that you become an expert in two classes.

Note;
The objectives and the goals of the classes are clearly stated. Also, there is provision for continuous follow up and assistance even after the classes.
The questions you're asking are on the ridiculous side, because, while I can definitely answer your questions, it is obvious you didn't bother to check the attached pdf, nor did you check the weblinks provided which directs to the portfolio of the tutors (more than one, mind you).

This is tailored for architects, their specific requirements of 3ds max, and not the whole software. Also considering the fact that they have little or no time.
If you're not an architect, you really don't need to look in here.
Re: 3ds Max Intensive Training (for Architects Only) by Nobody: 12:36pm On May 09, 2011
To clarify this issue once and for all, kindly read the following carefully:

1. This training is for ARCHITECTS only.

2. There are requirements for taking the course, part of which is knowledge/use of BIM software.

3. The course work is designed to teach architects the tools they need to create ARCHITECTURAL VISUALIZATIONS.

4. They will be taught all they need to create ARCHITECTURAL VISUALIZATIONS in 2 Saturdays, with specially designed assignments to be submitted during the week.

5. We have a follow-up system in place where specific problems by individual students are addressed by the tutors. There's no time limit to this.

6. If you're an ARCHITECT, and you submit ALL your assignments as given, and still can't use the software as outlined in the objectives of the course, you can have a FULL REFUND, no questions asked.

7. This training is NOT for character animators, VFX specialists etc.

8.You are advised to please download the PDF, read, and visit the websites and portfolio pages.

Thank you.
Re: 3ds Max Intensive Training (for Architects Only) by Nobody: 2:24pm On May 09, 2011
what do mean by for architect?
Re: 3ds Max Intensive Training (for Architects Only) by Nobody: 2:28pm On May 09, 2011
The training is meant for architects only. The coursework is optimized for architects and the specific tools used for architectural Viz. Therefore, tools such as those used for character animations and the reactor tool set will not be taught. I hope you understand? If you didn't study architecture, this training is not for you.

can you start giving us a t,it bit of those tools?
Re: 3ds Max Intensive Training (for Architects Only) by Nobody: 2:40pm On May 09, 2011
I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but every question you're asking here has been answered over and over again. The attched PDF has all the required information. Any question that has been addressed in the attached document will not be addressed here.
Thank you for your interest.

@ wikidraw
Thank you for your observations.

This is the third training class, we're having.
We have a process that works and we'll continue to utilize it.
Thank you.
