Both the Nollywood actor and police are dumb nitwits.
The actor ought to know that for such things, one should apply to the state's police commissioner for weapons to use as prop. A permit by police is issued for the period and even some policemen are directed to be on set during filming.
The police are foōls for parading someone who they already feel is likely innocent, making it look like an armed robbery suspect. Read where it was reported that the chief who rented out the weapons to him has admitted so.
Then why publicly parade the man after this information?
This is something that will haunt the actor's reputation in future.
