Even a kid in Nigeria knows that Imo is the state with highest number of qualified applicants to university but nearly half of the qualified applicants are left at home because of no chances in the existing universities in Nigeria.

Buhari, do you research before the universities are located, or are you dashing out universities like the way northern military dictators created and dashed out new states to politicians in areas where new states are not viable?

The universities created by president Jonathan were closed by president Buhari.

These Buhari’s giving out of universities where they are least needed, the universities may be closed down by his successor.

Why not increase the learning environment of the old ones to accommodate more students instead of having new ones that will be headed by corrupt leaders...

That 5billion will solve whatever crisis causing ASUU strike. Why start a new project when all the others are dying?
They use universities to bring 'development ' in their communities of interest.
Have few solid universities that can compete with others globally is better than numerous universities that may not even compete with private universities in the same country.

Opening school without proper security is bullshit. You want to gather people's children in one place for your bandit to come and kidnap them. It's not about jumping to approve audio money for university while the physical money is starch and laundered overseas. How many of our schools have adequate security for the students. It's better to remain alive than to go to school and be kidnapped for ransome or loose your live.
