The Senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial Zone, Mr. Ishaku Abbo Elisha said the All Progressives Congress Stakeholders in the State should replace the Party's acting EXCOS led by Alhaji Ibrahim Bilal. Abbo in a telephone interview with our Yola correspondent said there is going to be gross losses if the Bilal-led officials of the party continued up to 2023 general elections. He revealed that Ibrahim is incapable of taking the party to overall victory considering how the party monumental failed in the last 2019 elections. 'We had Bilal in 2019 but President Muhammadu Buhari, Sen Muhammadu Umar Jibrilla Bindow, Hon Adamu Kamale, and Sen Binta Masi Garba all lost the election in Michika, his own LGA. "Under the leadership of Bilal, many of APC state's lawmakers were unable to return as elected. I thank it's a high time we change him and bring a more competent, agile, superficial party man who knows well the politics of winning election in Adamawa. "For me, if there is going to be any headway in our party, we must make sure that glaring changes in the party that will stand against our victory are made," Abbo said He worried that it will be disastrous if effective cogent changes are not done in the Adamawa APC party system, accusing some of the supposed party loyalists to be having a romantic relationship with the present-led government of PDP in the state. "Bilal's ineptitude made the entire APC officials in Michika local government together with eleven wards excos left the party to PDP for him. We can't continue to allow people like him to run the party if we want to win the 2023 elections." Ishaku said He called on all relevant stakeholders and party supporters to work on ways to inject in new people with a fresh idea, whose passion for APC is nonnegotiable to salvage the party come 2023.
