The National Steering Committee (NSC) of the National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS) has been inaugurated with the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as chairman. The committee is charged with the task of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty in 10 years through a well-researched framework of implementation and funding.

President Muhammadu Buhari performed the event yesterday in Abuja with Secretary to Government of the Federation and others as members.

THIS came as Osinbajo insisted that his principal was committed to Nigeria attaining greater height in comity of nations.
Addressing the launch of a book entitled, “The Buhari in us”, written by Abdullahi Haruna in Abuja, he maintained that those opposed to the President’s leadership style do not mean well for the country.

Truly I believe Buhari/Osinbajo means well for Nigerians and by appointing Osinbajo as the chairman the poverty level will reduce drastically to a minimal level

Nigerians need to be reminded that this began in 2016 when NASS led by Saraki gave a pass to NSIP, a scheme design to improve the lives and livelihoods of the Nigerian People especially Nigerians at the bottom of the pyramid, there are other human capital development programmes too, design to improve lives.

Most low earner spend the bulk of their income on food and with the current inflation of food items, millions are effortlessly sliding into chronic poverty daily. God is our strength.
