Like a bread soaked in a tea cup, Our lands are soaked up with bloods, And it can no longer drained down.
Unseen voices of a black child crying in a forest, With wind of sorrow shaking the darlings bud of trees.
Can't you hear the cry of the owl in the bamboo tree? Crying for rafia palm to stop their sweet palm wine, Can't you see the drunkard laughing in the gutter? His mouth opened "more wine, more wine" he said.
The Greek has return back to us, Umu dot, like a seed that germinate anywhere, Onye dot, they even grow on rocky ground, You are the dot growing tall in all part of the world.
We are dot at home but giant abroad, Exit the circle, exit the circle, I said, Don't just sit back, go and cry to wind, Cry to the sea, cry to forest,cry to every corner, Cry your cry, cry until our voice is heard.
