Jungle justice or mob justice is a form of public extrajudicial killings in Nigeria and Cameroon, where an alleged criminal is humiliated, beaten or summarily executed by a crowd or vigilantes.

Can it be curbed?

Any killer, armed robber, or kidnapper caught in the act deserve to be burnt alive...stop being a fool, and having concern for your enemies out to hurt and kill you, this is the worst form of stupidity. We all should be clamouring for the death of these devils. They hate you and want to hurt you, don't be a fool.

The only cure for the police to be professional, up-to-date and synergise with the populace.

People resort to jungle justice when they know that:

1. The suspect will explore the weakness of the law to evade punishment.

2. High calibre connection is involved which may alter the course of justice.

3. People are on a revenge mission for a previous painful experience

4. When the prosecuting lawyer(s) are colluding with the. Defendant(s)' lawyer to water down the case.

5. Money matter.

6. The police is not trusted to do thorough investigation, be neutral and provide cast-iron evidence in court.

So, when the aforementioned factors are in the equation, jungle justice will continue.
