The President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, said that the reported roof leakage at the National Assembly has vindicated its request for the approval of N37 billion for the renovation of the assembly complex. It was earlier reported that the Tuesday, June 22nd Senate Plenary was disrupted due to leakage in the roof that allowed rain to enter into the NASS complex. Lawan stated this in his remarks on two Points of Order raised by Senate Deputy Chief Whip, Sen.
