Good morning to all, I’ll go straight to the point,
This one is long please bear with me.


I’m 22 years of age I left high school at 17 that was 2015 the initial plan was, I was gonna study medicine come out a medical doctor and complete my residency in the us.
unfortunately life was laughing at the back, for me after high school things become really tough for my dad, he is an electrical engineer, I barely finished high school i think I still owe some fees there, my dad lost his company lost all his contracts.

he sold our house in Abuja his two cars, my elders brothers picanto, my moms pathfinder still things weren’t looking favorable, at some point we had to go back to the village from starting of 2018 till 2020.

that’s how bad things got for us, my mom was a business woman well that story aside she dosent get contracts as usual not even anymore, back to me.
during all these trials and tribulations I had been writing jamb every single year to gain admission for medicine, but it seems I don’t get it or I haven’t ever successfully written a jamb exam for the past 3 years after graduation, when it got to the time to buy the jamb form there’s always an excuse I can never forget there’s no money, not up until 2019 when I got a job I’n a club as the snooker manager, so I could afford to pay the fees.
a month to the exams I got robbed on my way back from the club At 9pm I was shot in the leg, they took all my phones, bag, money, I had to limp with one leg to our gate cause it was right at the front of our house.


how the hospital bill came I don’t know but god provided my mum used my savings to put in her restaurant business, carried all my chickens. And cooked ��. I still love you mom regardless.
I will pay you I will pay you till today shishi I haven’t seen for any of my chickens, the restaurant business failed incase you were wondering, fast forward to the date I was discharged from the hospital, the same day I had to write my jamb exams after spending a month plus in the hospital.

my paper was around 12pm in the afternoon I got to the hall around 3pm in the evening, lucky for me they were having issues so they haven’t started, good I wrote, got 173 the medicine and surgery I applied for went down the drain.


I did change of institution and course to nassarawa state still didn’t get admitted, so I just got tired of the whole thing and left school for that time, fast forward till now god has helped me I’m now 22 I have the brain and skills of a 35 year old man I’m a photographer, video editor, Beauty retouch specialist, web designer app developer, keyboardist and software engineer, tho I’m still in the Making of the software engineer part.

now my mom wants me to go to school or back to school, I wrote jamb this year after much persuasion cause I was fed up with school and everything it had to offer but I was gonna listen to her, took the Jamb I did fairly ok for someone that Hasn't opened a book since 2019 trust me I didn’t ever read any book or thing for this Jamb the story book they gave for the jamb exam I think I only read about 5 pages In it but I was surprised I did well in jamb.



I’m planning to pursue a computer science degree in a private uni, now do you guys suggest I go to school that teaches you nothing about actual programming or focus on learning from my mentor who is a software engineer working with a foreign tech company in Nigeria and has even promised me a spot in their company if I could top him in a month of being with him to get paid in dollars, please your candid advice is needed.
for my current job now I work as a photo editor for a photo studio in wuse I basically work from home so I have all the free time in the world apart form when I’m editing. Thanks �
