Hello fam…

I feel i need to put this here and hopefully I get the help I desire. I’m suffering from an unusual disorder called Trichotillomania.

For those wondering what Trichotillomania is,
It’s a disorder that involves recurrent, irresistible urges to pull out body hair.
The urges involve pulling out hair from the scalp, literally all areas of the body.
I’ve been suffering from this disorder for 4 years and I’m finding it difficult to stop….I don’t do drugs so I wonder where this thing came from.

I feel very relaxed while pulling my hair especially the beards and the hair on my head when I start doing it I’d feel some comfort, relaxation but this thing is messing up my beauty as a person. Please house I really need help how can I stop this urge of hair pulling all the time. I’d be glad to see opinions and solutions Thank you!!

See a shrink ASAP.

This is really strange. You just have to discipline yourself to stop. It is a bad habit. Just like chewing your nails and picking your nose.

If it's just facial hair, I don't think there's anything strange there. I do it too. I do facial hair and balls hair only. Sometimes butt hair too when alone at home.

Really sorry you going through this, no matter what solution is suggested to you, you will have to still pray to God for restoration.
May God restore you back to normal.
