The major problem with electioneering in Nigeria is the stranglehold of political parties by a corrupt few, who anoint, appoint or select the party candidates, and in turn, leave a pack of misfits the voters.

Can the party primaries be influenced by voters?

Can we have conversations on why specific individuals should be rejected as options for even the political parties to consider, because it will be suicide for the party.

For instance, if the voters (members of the public) loudly and collectively reject Bola Tinubu, even APC won't choose him, same as Atiku and PDP or another misfit in any political party.

The party primaries are rigged. If the voices here and on other platforms, and in the general discussions amongst groups (age, career, familial, community, etc) far outweighs the agenda of the political parties, it will resonate loud and they will consider who the party fields as a candidate.

These conversations should include President, NASS and State Governors elections
