People seem to have forgotten that the Russian Federation is not some 3rd world power, but a first world global super power that can cause a whole lot of damage. The pro-wedtern supporters seem to have forgotten about the Georgian-Ossetian war were the Georgians with their American tech and weapons got raped by Russian military. It took a lot of "abeg" that stopped the Russian advance from steam-rolling over Tblisi were the Georgian President already had a mental breakdown and was chewing his own ties.
Even the Ukrainians should've learnt from their recent conflict in the Donbass region/Eastern Ukraine and Crimea. Crimea fell to the Russian military without a single shot fired and the Ukrainians got their collective butts handed to them when Russians intervened indirectly in Eastern region. If they think NATO will save them, they're in for another rude awakening. They should go and watch what Russia's doing in Syria.

You probably need to read up on the Russian Tech scene. You're talking about the global leader in technologies like space payload delivery, data security, aerospace tech (especially engine design and manufacture) etc. They're even incorporating Russian chips in Russian computing, although they still can't compete with those from China, USA, Taiwan, and Korea....yet. China's the world's global tech leader, but the Russian Federation is definitely no push-over.

Guess the country that's sanctioning Russia, North Korea, Iran, China without retaliation??
I'm bringing you facts you're talking about movies.
When the F-117 stealth aircraft was fielded, what was other country flying??
When the U2 supersonic spy plane was used to spy on Russia. What did they do, rush to make a supersonic intercept that crashes once you put on the afterburn that the aircraft was called "The Widow Maker".
When someone is dropping facts because its pro-America you assumed it's all Hollywood.
Around early 2000 when the drone fighters wasn't even a thing, the US already produced and flew two unmanned aircraft that were autonomous. They went into a simulated battle field on their own and made decision on their own (XB-45).
Or should I take about how the US has already flew their Skybord AI in an aircraft already.
Just because you're anti-American doesn't mean everything American is Hollywood. Get real.
Go and read on the Vietnam and Korean War because what you wrote up there just shows you don't even know what you're saying. only saying what you heard somewhere.
The thing is if you want to know, any war that's not directly affecting America loses support back home the longer it drags on. The day any of those countries you felt made America run away thinks they have arrived, they should directly or indirectly bomb America herself and claim responsibility. Then we'll talk.

Sorry you still don't get it.... You are not even a student of history so I see why you don't get it or maybe will never get it... History have taught me some people like you will never learn from history.
You also don't understand science or engineering at all... With all the blah blah blah weapons you they spit out for the US, na mostly traps and cutlass the Vietnamese take win the war against the all mighty US technology.... Look at Afghanistan, horses and road side bombs na him dem take drive the US from thier country.... It's not the weapons you have it's all about damage the other side can do to you.
But before you go to sleep tonight think of the empires that were before the US and where these previous empires are now today.
One last homework for you is look at Cuba which is America's next door neighbour... With all the sanctions from the US, the people of Cuba are far much healthier and safer than the US.
Sanctions are done by weak countries... That's why the US join with all other colonial masters to form NATO to colonize the word as other countries are standing up to them... If US is tough let them go fight Russia as nobody is stopping them... You can go join the fight with them as well as nobody they stop you too.

Yeah, about the 2nd world war, the USA did not "single handedly" win the war. Hitler lost that war for one major blunder: he created a 2nd front i e. the Eastern front. That was the beginning of his downfall. It was even the Russians that captured Berlin FIRST and raised the Soviet flag on the Reichstag, plus the capture of the Wolflair/Hitler's bunker. Keep in mind that the Americans entered WW2 quite late. I will give them props for the war in the Pacific against the Japanese Empire though.

Dude you have nothing to say at all... America should go and fight Russia because of why? smh. Even wayward cultists don't just up and start fighting..
It's my fault though. My continuous reply to your comments is me justifying your ignorance. Ciao

Point of correction on the Korean War: South Korea did not win more territory after the war. Yes the US-led United Nations force indeed pushed the NK forces beyond the 38th parallel towards the Yalu river. It was the Chinese military that then pushed the UN forces back from the Yalu river down back to the 38th parallel, inflicting massive damage on the Americans. A stalemate then followed before the armistice was signed at the DMZ, again near the 38th Parallel. South Korea won no new territory.

Good Lord.....bros, NATO was created because of the defunct Soviet Union, Russia in particular. Why will Russia want to join them in the 1st place?
Re: Russia Tests S-400 Missiles In Crimea Amid Tensions With Ukraine by Kenn55: 1:12pm On Jun 30
You don't understand my point. I'm saying Russia is punching below her weight considering the technological prowess of the country. Russia should be at least in the top 5 economies.
There is absolutely no reason the UK, France,Canada and about 8 other countries should have a bigger economy to Russia. Russia is far technologically superior to all these countries.
The problem with Russia lies in their leadership. You have Putin who has ruled Russia for about 23 years and counting whose idea of power is just weapons upon weapons that are never going to be used. A different leader other than Putin would probably have a different view and prioritize economic power over military power like China did. You can see how powerful China has become today.
I'm of the opinion that you either practice true democracy and get the dividends or go full autocratic like China and get the reward. This Russian democracy is not helping them at all.
Democracy was designed in such a way that gives room for variety of ideas and views.
When you change leaders, there is a possibility of changing views as the new leader implements what he thinks it's best for the country. Imagine that Buhari will be president for the next 20 years, we are going to be talking about cows and grazing cos that is what he cares about most. But at least we can put our hope that all this cow talk will end in the next 2 years rather than 20 years.Putin is obsessed with military and weapons and that has been his interest since the beginning and it won't change.
Russia can be bigger economically than it is now but she needs a different kind of leader in other to make it happen. Putin tried for Russia in the beginning but I don't think he has any other thing to offer Russia apart from testing weapons.
Re: Russia Tests S-400 Missiles In Crimea Amid Tensions With Ukraine by ocelot2006(m): 1:30pm On Jun 30
The F-117? The same stealth plane that the Serbians shot down with a Russian SA-2 SAM system? Oh btw the Russians did not field any stealth aircraft, but they fielded impressive platforms like the Su-27 Flankers and MIG-29 Fulcrums, plus Su-24s and Su-25s.
And you talk about American supersonic flights ( I guess you're referring to the SR-71 Blackbird). Now I don't know which Russian bird you refer to the "widow maker", but the primary bird for supersonic intercepts, the Mig 25 Foxhound, still flies till TODAY, and is not some push-over bird.

Re: Russia Tests S-400 Missiles In Crimea Amid Tensions With Ukraine by emae009(m): 2:18pm On Jun 30
I was talking about the US debuting technologies far ahead of its time. I know about the Blackbird but when the U-2 spy plane was first fielded, the USSR had no answer to it. It flew for over 4 years over there Soviet Union before it was finally shoot down by a SAM. They MiG-25 is officially known as the Foxbat not Foxhound (that's the MiG 31). I said after putting on the afterburn that takes the aircraft to March3.2, it was difficult to control and most likely crashed hence " The Widow Maker". It's not the only aircraft to be called that, US, Germany, India also have aircrafts that have been called that but it's usually not their official name.
The point I was trying to make was that in terms of military technology, America is far ahead of its adversaries but it doesn't showcase it weaponry. Like the Stealth ship that was developed to learn about stealth in ships which later gave birth to the Zumalth class destroyers. Nobody knew about the existence of the first ship until like 4 years ago.
the RX-170 reconnaissance drone that was shot down in Iran had been flying there for a long time before it was shot down. Nobody knew about it until that incident. They have a new one that incorporate stealth features RX-180. Officially it doesnt exist but its more likely been flown around the world.
The US military has so many black project programmes that don't exist because if the admit that it does, any journalist can obtain a FOA from the court and request information about the project and they will by law release it.

It was a typo. I meant to say "Ukraine won't be admitted into NATO until it has met certain conditions.
Russia has tried to join NATO on two occasions in the past, but it was rejected. Russia tried to join in 1954 and in 1991. You can google it if you doubt me.
When Russia proposed to join NATO in 1954 and was rejected, it formed the Warsaw Pact.
Re: Russia Tests S-400 Missiles In Crimea Amid Tensions With Ukraine by anonymous1759(m): 2:30pm On Jun 30
Uncle SAM won't allow that. It's more political, not Putin's fault. If it was possible for Uncle Sam to crumble China Economically they'll do it. But it's too late.
The real bone of contention here is "Security and Economy"If Russia should surrender their security advancement the west will definitely release some sanctions to boost Russia's Economy but Putin is Wiser.
What Is the essence of having a Good Economy without security? You'll be over Powered before dawn if war happens.
That's what North Korea and Iran are facing . The western media will make it seem like those leaders are bad or don't care about the masses so her citizens will revolt against them . Same thing happened to Maduro but he's strong because of Russia.
Libya should be a case study for all of you . Gadaffi's mistake was thinking he can do it alone. If he'd allign with Russia NATO would have ran Back in their hole as usually. Assad and Maduro are alive today because of Russia.
Re: Russia Tests S-400 Missiles In Crimea Amid Tensions With Ukraine by dermmy(m): 2:32pm On Jun 30
This is not true. Why would Russia a superpower try to join NATO in 1954 when the cold war had started already. Can a Communist power mingle with Capitalist power during the cold War by joining NATO? Russia never tried to join NATO during and after the cold War. The only time Russia hinted at joining NATO was in 1996 under Boris Yeltsin. Vladimir Putin Hinted at that too in year 2002.
Not that Russia tried to join NATO, those two leaders said so because the relationship between NATO and Russia after the cold War was cordial until 2004 when NATO brought in the Baltic states. They cooperated over so many issues. Have you heard about the
North Atlantic Cooperation Council
Partnership for Peace
NATO-Russia Founding Act
These are post cold War platforms initiated by Russia and NATO to promote trust and further peaceful relations among themselves.

Stop arguing what you don't know. The 38th parallel North formed the border between North Korea and south Korea prior to the korean war.
After the war, a new border was drawn inside of North Korea territory called the Demilitarized zone (DMZ). It is the DMZ that now forms the boundary/border between North Korea and south Korea, not the 38th parrallel north. Meaning, the South got some territory from the North as the 38th parrallel is now inside South Korea territory.
North Korea lost some territory after the war. Study the map below to Understand what I'm saying.
Before Korea war- 38th parrallel north divided the North and South
After Korea war- The DMZ divides the North and South

You see Bro, many Nigerians expecially southerners do not actually know how to think rightly. They belive it is always RIGTH for tradition to holds sway when COMMON SENSE ACTUALLY CALL OTHERWISE.
The Pure Evidences Are There That NATO is just a mere Town before Russia while USA act like a Country but is viewed by Russia like a Mega City.
Can any Smaller Nation dare do what Russia Did in Syria without USA ordering and or invading such Country RIGTH away?
Like DONALD LEE SMITH would say: "The Best Way To Hide Information Is To Put It In Open View" so also is it so hard for many kids on this thread to think and see the handwriting on the wall.
