The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board previously stated that reports of mass failure in the 2021 UTME are false. Instead, the body accuses the students of not being fully prepared for the tests.

According to comments from students who took the exam, a large number of students failed the exams horribly. Many of the students claimed to understand what they wrote, and the bulk of them accused JAMB for being dramatic and not providing them with their true scores.

A few days ago, an educational researcher said that the cause of the Massive Failure reported in the 2021 JAMB was due to students being given the incorrect syllabus to study, while some JAMBITs observed that the questions provided to them were extremely basic yet they still couldn't score beyond 200.

Recall that the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) released the results of candidates who sat for the 2021 exams on June 25, 2021. According to the report, candidates can check their results by texting UTMERESULT to 55019 from the phone number used to obtain their profile code. Many students cried of out of receiving someone else results as theirs.

Many students followed JAMB's instructions to obtain their results through SMS, with JAMB receiving 50 Naira for each SMS sent to 55019. Although many students were unable to view their results, Yet their accounts were still debited by 50 Naira.

Others who were able to access their results said they were sent someone else's scores. After JAMB received the reports of many students claiming to be sent someone else results as theirs, they suspend the use of texting UTMERESULT to 55019. (You see where the errors is coming from?)

Shortly after, JAMB launched their website portal and recommended candidates to use it to check their results. This is where the bemoaning started.

The massive failure recorded in JAMB 2021 was caused by a computer error indicted by Nigeria's federal government.

Who is in charge of JAMB's computer? "The JAMB Registrar"Prof Ishaq Oloyede, and the JAMB Registrar receives orders from President Muhammadu Buhari, who head the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Why majority of students failed the 2021 JAMB UTME is for the monetary purpose of the Federal government.

Do you agree with me?
