The Soka Ibadan residence of Yoruba Nation Agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo aka Sunday Igboho was raided in the early hours of Thursday by yet-to-be-identified gunmen.

The incident reportedly occurred around 1:00am.

The media page of Igboho’s spokesperson, Mr Olayomi Koiki, in a live feed monitored by The Nation, alleged some men adorning military uniforms carried out the attack.

It was observed Igboho’s vehicles, including his G-wagon, Prado Jeep, some valuable properties including furniture, and windows were destroyed.

Bullet holes were found in cars parked in the premises while blood stains were seen at the premises.

It was also alleged that some persons in the house including a close ally of Igboho identified as ‘Lady K’, were whisked away.

It was learnt Igboho was not at home during the attack while some alleged he ‘mysteriously’ disappeared.

Oyo Police Command was yet to confirm the attack.

some of you talked about the afonja war with ño understanding of historical facts. That loosing Ilorin with to smaller Fulani forces and winning oshogbo which had a larger Fulani force is a question many of you have never asked. Ilorin was lost because the indigenous people were made to believe the new found religion was the way. And decided to sabotage all efforts . Mind you the head was afonja who had all the military strategist with him.Also point of corrections to the erroneous falacies you guys carry about on nairaland. Afonja won the war not the fulanis. The fulanis were only able to topple him after the war when they knew he was already weakened and that they did not because they are militarily strong,but because they used his trusted men and officers to remove him from power for not being pious enough.
