Topic: Be Separate
Text: Ezra 9:2 For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: SO THAT THE HOLY SEED HAVE MINGLED THEMSELVES WITH THE PEOPLE OF THOSE LANDS: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

Do not mingle with the people of the land, for what communion hath light with darkness, and what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness. The Lord wants us to be separate, set apart for his glory alone. Let us therefore live a life of separation, let the world in which we live in know that we do not belong with them. Let us not touch what they touch, nor do what they do, nor even speak or live as they do, we are not from this world, but from God.
...Do you not know that friendship with this world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of this world makes himself and enemy of God. James 4:4_
Wherefore come out from their midst, do not be found mingling with the people of the land, be separate, do not touch the unclean thing, and I will receive you says the Lord.
Indeed blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinner, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
