At the time when this was going on, Eze’s wife, Sophia, was bleeding and could not make use of the seatbelt. Eze tried to explain to the officials but it fell on their deaf ears as they allegedly impounded the vehicle with the bleeding woman inside.

The man, who is a father of four, disclosed that one of the LASTMA personnel jumped into his car and drove it away at the time when he was begging them to allow him to take his wife to the hospital for treatment.

Olajide Oduyoye, who happens to be the General Manager of the traffic agency in the state, while confirming the incident, revealed that they are still looking into the matter, adding that the driver would be invited to identify the officials involved on Monday. Unfortunately, Eze couldn’t make the Monday invitation as Sophia was bleeding again and had to be taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, 2 LASTMA personnel were punished by the Lagos State government for extortion. Watch the clip below.

However, it was also reported that they had identified the LASTMA personnel and police officers involved in this incident. They had been recalled to the LASTMA’s office located in Oshodi for questioning. The driver who identified them on Tuesday further added that the officials admitted they did what he accused them of. He said he refused to collect the sum of ₦10,000 that was extorted from him since they have failed to provide his other valuables.

Aside from the ₦10,000, Eze said he is still looking for his passport, a sum of ₦150,000 kept inside an envelope and driving license. The police officers denied their involvement when they were brought to the agency’s office for questioning. This infuriated the director of the LASTMA’s legal department however called for their detention. They also promised to return all that was taken from the man’s car during the arrest.

97.9% of our law enforcement officers are thieves and criminally minded. Buhari’s DSS are worse, never seen where FBI goes to arrest a suspect and scatter his apartment, destroy properties shoot through the windows with the intention of killing anyone in the house and even arresting cat thinking the suspect transforms into a cat.

Very animalistic behavior. That's similar to car jacking and Kidnapping.

They should provide the valuables. The man should've added more spices to the soup by saying the money is #300K, with iPads, iPhones, Jewelry, Laptop, Generator, Deep freezer, etc
