The federal government has urged states to submit reports of judicial panels set up after the 2020 End SARS protests.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo made the call when he chaired the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting.

The gathering endorsed the 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure Framework and Fiscal Strategy Paper (MTEF/FSP).

In attendance: were Governors, Ministers, Central Bank Governor, Godwin Emefiele, and other government officials.

NEC had recommended the establishment of judicial panels nationwide to address complaints of police brutality after the President dissolved the Police SARS unit.

Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed stated that the draft of the 2022-2024 MTEF/FSP was prepared against the backdrop of global economic recovery, amid improved vaccination outlook and lower incidence of COVID-19.

Ahmed said said the Nigerian economy sustained a tepid recovery in first quarter of 2021 posting a Year-on-Year (YoY) GDP growth of 0.51%, consolidating the exit from recession in Q4 2020.

To do what with it?? If the recent raids on the residence of Sunday Igboho is anything to go buy, it goes to prove the narrative that the military authorities took away d bodies of those shot and killed. The gunment already claimed reports on all the shootings during the endsars reports were fake news and already claimed the endsars movement was sponsored to wreck havoc so what does anyone think they want to do with the report?

But so many persons believed the govt hook line and sinker wen they claimed no one was shot and no body died from the Lekki Tollgate shootings. They claimed all the reports were made up and some resident ediots here on nairaland supported dem and insulted others. Recent happenings are begin to unravel and prove us right.

Big lies. They also claimed few persons where killed during El Zazzkay raid... I can tell you close to 200 persons where killed then. The military is the government and when they strike they do it without a trace.

The same government that called the massacre at Lekki fake news is asking for End SARS judicial report.

On one hand they accused international media and Nigerians reporting on their atrocities as spreading fake news on the other hand they want a report from a process they don't believe in, the level of inconsistencies and lies this government is just alarming and shameful....
