Igboho’s lawyer demands N500m compensation, public apology over alleged illegal invasion by DSS Chief Yomi Alliyu SAN, FCIArb., counsel to Chief Sunday Adeyemo (aka Sunday Igboho), has described the invasion of house of the Yoruba separatist leader by operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) as grossly illegal and unconstitutional. Recalled that the Ibadan house of the Igboho was invaded in the early hours of last Thursday by the DSS operatives who alleged that the Yoruba warlord was stockpiling ammunition. Two of Igboho’s aides were killed during the invasion, just as the security operatives took away 13 other persons and also claimed to have recovered from the house seven AK-47 riffles, three pump action guns, several international passports and cache of charms and amulets. Sue the DSS, AGF, Presidency, Nigerian Military, NPF National Security Adviser for gross violation and abuse of fundamental human right of Igboho. That invasion was an attempt to murder him. Buhari is gradually returning us to the Sgt. Rogers and Bamaiyi days. 1 Like |
