This is the second meeting of Southern Governors in as many months. I sense they're setting an interesting precedent for sth bigger. Look at their body language : they're not openly supporting secession, but are implicitly clinging to the fragile...very fragile unity of Nigeria. They are like minds, at least, from what binds them together. The next step should be the audacious move to declare independence from the federation, then see how powers can be shared autonomously amongst member states. 2 Likes |

Incase you see any tribal statement against any Igbo, Yoruba or Niger delta in nairaland claiming it emanated from the IGBOS, Yoruba or Niger delta, pls know it is the HAUSA-FULANI that disguised...all southern people have united to pursue same course and no southerner dare insult another southerner...we have identified our common Enemy which is divide and rule strategy by the north and we are ready to deal with it.. 4 Likes |

The best solution to Nigeria problem now is creation of southern republic and Northern republic . And we will ask middle birth to chose between the two republic which one to join Do you know why because I’m seeing 5 additional state in the north joining the southern republic . Say no body will like to be with people who those not reason like human beings and possibly take him 20yrs back wards, In the 21st century it is very bad . Some people can now create road to chad , Kenya ,Mali and Niger republic because his cousin brother or sister live in that country . 1 Like |

Raph82: Unfortunately, the south made the north what it is today by their inactions. The north has over ran the country, wielding unnecessary powers and in the wrong directions. The future is education, education is everything. The developed world are developed because of their education. Why the north have totally refused to imbibe in educating their people is what I just couldn't fathom. The only reason why the north is backwards as at today is lack of education. They have a grip on almost all the resources of Nigeria but and but, there is absolutely nothing to show for it. To make matter worst they are going for the killer to all other parts of the country with their bokoharam, banditry and other forms of criminality. If anyone points this out to them, they will claim the person is against the country. If they are truly well informed they will know that their nomadic way of life is obsolete or becoming obsolete and in a way try to amend it. If the fulani agree to modernize their cattle business, in not too distant time, they will be in real money for taking this strategic decision. The problem is that they just could not see this. Besides, any attempt to mention this to them turn you to being an enemy. Culture should be evolving. If they agree to shift ground and put in just 10% of the effort and resources they deploy into normadic cattle rearing into the tested cattle business template, they are likely to generate more than 10 times what they currently get from their cattles. If only they can see cattle rearing as a business and not a cultural activity, the whole country will be better for it. The other parts of the country also have their wrongs but the Fulanis are indeed a threat to Nigeria's survival. 2 Likes |
