WaVe City Project is a mega food security project by FarmKonnect Nigeria PLC. The project is aimed at improving food security through large scale agriculture and controlled environmental farming.

WaVe City; an acronym for Wasimi Vegetable City is a massive 1 Million square meters’ greenhouse project sitting on a 509 hectare – land at Wasimi, Osun State, Nigeria, for indoor/controlled environment farming production of healthy leafy and fruity vegetables such as Tomatoes, Habaneros, Chili Pepper, Eggplant, Strawberries etc...

At WaVe City, Open Field Farming is also being practiced – field root crops such as Carrots, Potatoes, Stevia, Abelmoschus esculentus (Okra), and Corchorus olitorius (Ewedu).

With Greenhouses engineered by FarmKonnect Nigeria PLC, healthy vegetables will be made available on tables of Nigerians and other residents of Africa and the world, largely at affordable prices; contributing to economic stability, cleaner, more serene climate and creation of both local and foreign trades as well as job employment opportunities for indigenes, residents of Wasimi, Osun State, its environs and beyond.
