Calling Osinbajo egghead is an overstatement/exaggeration. The highest degree he holds is a masters (LLM), his publications (sole/joint/ghost/local/international) leave much to be desired, undermining the professorship award processes at UNILAG. His role as well as (in)action in the current regime has led the ordinary Nigerian across nooks and crannies of this nation, aptly, to describe him as a spare tyre. Otherwise, how do you explain a scenario whereby, in the 21st century, a so-called democratic regime not only unlawfully killed peaceful protesters but also nanned freedom of expression via twitter ban. In that regime, the VP is an Lawyer and so-called Professor of Law. Clearly, intelligence is demonstrated not only through acquisition of academic qualifications but also, and more importantly, through apt decision making processes that differentiate the knowledgeable person from the airheaded. Osinbajo comes across as the former rather than the latter.
