LEADERSHIP, THE KEY RESTRUCTURING:

Restructuring, Secession or whatever form of agitations, non of these guaranteed development but leadership.

While restructuring is very crucial, its objectives would ever be a mirage if we don't have our leadership restructured as well.

Should we restructured the system alone like given more economic power to the component states/regions and expect something good in return with this present political mindset of the Nigerian leadership, I must confess, we are not making any different.

It's same way, somehow and somewhat that the objectives of seceding from one nation could also be trace down to the leadership style. If a region seceded from a nation and got her independence, that independence do not guaranteed the development of that nation but its leadership style. In whatever system of government a nation is practising be it democratic system, military system, Communalism, feudalism e.t.c its all depends on leadership. If the body or bodies that constituted the leadership want the development, progress and growth of their nation and her citizens, they will do things that would impact positively on the life of people and that of the nation in particular.

If the previous governments had done what Buhari is doing in his administration, we would not have been here at this level again and if the federating units, the states and local governments especially the states are doing what Mr President is doing today chiefly focusing on infrastructural development and social intervention, we would get things right but it's obvious and disheartening that the governors are not helping matter.
