❌India 30,743,013 infected, 405,272 dead
❌Brazil 18,909,037 infected, 528, 540 dead
❌Saudi Arabia 497,773 infected, 7933 dead

These countries either recorded C19 index at the same time with Nigeria or have a similar population.

We must give Glory to God. Let no man take credit. The Nigeria Covid19 positive outcome is beyond science, logic or explanation. We see the hand of God in Nigeria.
We give praises to God.

However, certain persons stood out in the fight against Covid19 in Nigeria.

*President M. Buhari* (GCFR)
As the Chief custodian of the safety of Public health in Nigeria, he performed above expectations.
Contrary to Pres Trump, he listened to science and data analytics. He committed humongous National resources to the Covid19 war, in effort to protect all Nigerians.
Sadly, he lost his best friend, MAK, to Covid19
Score 9.5 /10

*Boss Mustapha* SGF and Chairman PTFCOVID19.
He provided exemplary leadership. He spoke from the heart at every Covid19 presidential briefing.
He promoted transparency and first class stakeholder engagement.
Score 9/10

*Gov El-Rufai*
Not a surprise and clearly the best performing Governor on the State level, in the Covid19 war.
The only Governor to develop and implement a State level Covid19 testing plan.
The only Governor to proactively source for Covid19 vaccine.
He did all he could to protect all residents of Kaduna State.
Gov Jide omo Sanwo-Olu comes very close in 2nd position.
Score 8.5 /10

*Prof Akin Abayomi* Lagos State Health Commissioner.
A square peg in a square hole.
He handled the situation perfectly well in Lagos State as one of the epicenter led in COVID-19 testing.
A consummate professional.
He led Lagos to establish world class isolation centers, test centers etc.
A great asset to Nigeria Health care.
Score 8.5 / 10

*Chikwe Ihekweazu,* DG of NDDC.
Was responsible for leading the Covid19 strategy at the national level, provided humongous support to the States and defined the processes, procedures, templates and guidelines for Covid19 response in Nigeria.
Will be remembered for significant contributions to development of healthcare infrastructure in Nigeria.
Lowlights include Nigeria Covid19 test record and late adoption of RDT.
Score 8.2 /10

*Racheal Abuja* of News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)
A workaholic amazon of the press who ensured Nigerians were well informed with over 2,000 scientific, data driven and analytical tweets, press statements and articles on Covid19 in Nigeria.
A veteran of the fight against the eradication of Polio in Nigeria.
A beauty of the Press and delight to watch ask questions.
Score 8.2. /10

*Amaka Udeh of Arise TV and Mitaire Ikpen of NTA.*
These two news reporters were very active in the dissemination of news related to Covid19 in Nigeria and deserve commendation.
Kudos for a job well done.

Crap. The number of people tested for covid-19 in Nigeria is not even up to 1% of the population so these figures are technically flawed but good for political statements.
Tests less than two hundred thousand people in a country of appx. 200 million people.
Many people have been infected with the virus and recovered without knowing it while treating malaria or some other symptoms.
