There has always been. Its just well amplified during ortoms time now that data and Chinese phones are so cheap.

Benue is a nasty place with very troublesome and erratic people. That's why when I hear fulani herdsmen attack in benue, Im like 100% sure it's a big lie as I know that they themselves can attack each other without any reason.

I know of Jukun/TIV conflict as way back as 2001 but it wasn't bad as this. But I don't think it's as bad as this, the only news coming out of Benue now is herdsmen, Militia, tribal conflicts
Fulani herders made it worse by trying to encroach on their land. Communal clashes had always been there, mostly stirred by land. You know land is like gold in benue cos they're predominantly farmers.

That is the reason we must all exercise restraint in the face of unverified information.

I also heard that most of the attacks in Ebonyi attributed to Fulani herdsmen are actually communal clashes.

All of a sudden, all highway robberies are now tagged Fulani herdsmen. It seems all the other highway robbers that has been in existence since have all now retired leaving only herdsmen in the field of play. lipsrsealed
