For starters, every great nation use their best brains to their advancement. But it's rather still unbelievable that in the North, quota system is real.

What is the justification of encouraging illiteracy you may ask? In the name of regional competition I guess? But it still doesn't make sense as the enthronement of base minds to the helm of national affairs surely have great consequences..

Without doubt the current composition of our government attests to that fact that Buhari is a beneficial of quota system and coming to power elevated his fellow base minds who in turn elevated their adherents as well , turning a national business into a huge comic show.

Why does the cut off mark in the SW and SE have to be so high but so low in the North but in the end, same products from the north dominates and are entrusted to formulate policies for the nation??
How on earth do we think we can ever be like south Africa at least Don't think we know what we want as a nation.

Here is the sad reality, there are very intelligent core Northerners, who despite the easy way of quota system have the urge to uplight themselves from the poverty of mind and has done well for themselves. BUT THE CORE NORTH DOES NOT WANT SUCH PEOPLE AS THEIR LEADERS..

We all know men like Sanusi , Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, Aminu Mohamed , Hakeem Baba Ahmed and even El rufai (hate him or love him), these set understand that for the north to have a future, it must have a solid foundation in education which brings about the liberation of mind( that's why they are called liberals).

To the major part of the core north, liberal means holding less to Islamic tenets, it means having less wives, less children , total emacipation of women, excellent education and less cow, fair and equity when the dealing with south and so on . These people don't what any of these and thats why it's to their interest that these liberal learned men be pushed off from leadership...

Sanusi was sacked and El rufai (am not a fan) was heavily criticized for sacking of thousands of illiterate teachers, the majority of core north prefers men like Abacha, Buhari , Kwankwanso who are staunch conservatives of Islam. Men who can enthrone other northerners in the name of religion and tribe and not on merit.

Quota system is real so when you see the likes of Attorney general Malami, Former EFCC Magu, Spokesman Shehu garba and even Maj. Gen Abdulmalik Biu who says a Bokoharam member can be a president and so on, try to understand that it's not their fault.

Today, you see them on national televisions debating whether Lauretta Onochie is a member of ApC or not, they're lots of them hiding under the cover of politics , dumb brains who don't have any single vision for this Country..

Finally, we who don't houses in the Dubai, London and New Yorks of the world must do our needful part in taking back our nation from these elements from the north otherwise Yemen will be better than us oneday..

If the minority learned people of the north are sidelined then the majority learned of the south must take over, imagine for once that all known southerners all over the world be put to work for this nation, what a glorious future awaits us....

You don't understand the meaning of quota system.

Every country in this world practice some form of quota system.

Every state in Nigeria practice quota system

Obielumani (2008) defined quota system as any selection method (for employment, school admission, among others) whereby a certain set of percentage of those selected must be of a given ethnic or racial background and/or of a particular sex.

Quota system is to allow representation of certain group of people who might not be opportune to get opportunities.

Without quota system, many groups will be exempted from political power or opportunities.

I think you fully understand the kind quota system am talking about Emeka.. If incompetency sits above merit as nation, it will reflect on the progress of that nation..

Try and check the capacity of men leading American, British, Chinese , Russian, German , Canadian , Australian government and then check compare it with that your government.
