Well I'm not surprise. I've always known government, not just Nigeria but Africa at large don't like press freedom. It's one truth that has been staring at us right in the face. 4 Likes |

The media needs to be gagged for peace to reign in Nigeria, those who keep criticising the government are enemies of the state who must be dealt with. Buhari has done a perfect job, anyone who says otherwise is an ingrate, a buffon or another lazy bastard southern youth. |

I agree with their move but if they are to be more serious they should reject any political congratulations/felicitations or other secret big money offers (brown envelope) they also get. 6 Likes |

It is unfortunate that a bill such as the media control bill would be introduced in a democratic government. Democracy thrives on freedom 1 Like |

They are the problem, with their culture of taking kickback to publish untrue stories is what’s hunting them. The main street media in Nigeria have to change their ways, their cultures of laziness, corruption and deception is irritating and destructive 5 Likes 1 Share |

The sad thing is that the bill will be passed by the rubber stamp senate. It will take years for Nigerians to enjoy true democracy. Any youth still hoping for change in this failed nation is not serious. The options before you is leaving the country for your own sanity or joining the bunch of failures to plunder what is left of the nation. 1 Like |
