Though not a fan of shylocks, the school has the right to stop the pupil from writing the exams.

I remember in my final exams in the Polytechnic, the then Rector, went from hall to hall with armed policemen, driving out students who didn't pay their fees. Worst still, even if you have the cash and wanted to finish the exams before going back to the bank because of queue, you have to abandone the exams. Thus, so many students missed the exams and had carryover.

Man's wickedness to man.
