Wizkid has made history by becoming the first Nigerian Afrobeats Artist to have a song chart on the Billboard Hot 100 as the lead artist. His song featuring Tems, "Essence" has officially been confirmed to be entering the chart at number 82 the week. The Billboard Hot 100 is a weekly chart that show the top 100 songs in America and is different from the Billboard 200 which is a weekly album Chart. Several Nigerians like Burna Boy, Wizkid and King Sunny Ade have made the Billboard l 200 album chart but Wizkid becomes the first Afrobeats artist to make the Billboard Hot 100 song chart.
